The story is about a boy who is an insomniac that hears voices in his head and the voices tell him to kill certain people.
The opening shot would be an establishing shot of a house, then it would skip to a shot of a boy lying in bed staring at the ceiling blankly. After it would show a group of people at a party, the shot would be at a high angle looking down at everyone. The next part would be a person outlined in chalk with police surrounding him. The boy is at school and he is sitting by himself wondering why he has marks on his arm. More dead bodies appear and then it shows multiple short scenes of chalk outlines and then the boy is sitting in the corner of a dark room speaking too himself. The boy hates the voices in his head and tells the police about them, the police have suspicions and is arrested and found guilty.

The equilibrium- An opening scene of the boy in his bed
Recognition of disruption-It shows a dead body that the boy has killed
Attempt to repair disruption-The boy is in class the next day and has forgot about what happened
Reinstatement of equilibrium-The boy is arrested.
Equilibrium: Meet the main character (Bradley Capel), understand the genre and see the setting. Audience understands that he can never sleep and he is a murderer. first shots show trophies of killed victims.
Disruption: Meet oppositional characters. The chief of police (Jonathan Grey) and the main female character (Laurence) who is a university student studying criminology.
Recognition of disruption: Chief of police suspects Bradley of murders but has no proof. Jonathan meets up and has an argument with Bradley about morals and ethics. They argument leaves on a cliffhanger and Jonathan starts to understand that Bradley isn't like any normal criminal. Jonathan meets up with Laurence and she becomes interested in helping the police.
Attempt to repair disruption: Jonathan gets evidence, Bradley, goes to attack Laurence. Chase leads them into an alley. Police arrive, Jonathan tries to speaks to Bradley and reason with him. Fight breaks out between them both, Bradley is knocked unconscious for the first time in his life.
Reinstatement of equilibrium: Bradley is in a coma and locked away for rape and murder of countless women. Laurence is offered a job in the police department by Jonathan.
